Hathor Flute and Harp Duo

Award winning flute and harp duo consisting of Lucy Nolan and Meera Maharaj are in demand musicians performing throughout the UK. Meera regularly performs at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and was a first prize winner in both the Dutch International Flute Competition and the Royal Academy of Music Flute Prize. Graduating from Oxford University and the Royal Northern College of music with Distinctions in postgraduate degrees, Lucy was the recipient of a number of prizes and a finalist in the RNCM’s Gold Medal weekend. She is in demand as a soloist and was recently invited to perform at the World Harp Congress in Hong Kong and regularly works with orchestras such as the Hallé, Manchester Concert Orchestra and the Royal Northern Sinfonia. With over a decade of experience performing for weddings and functions in a wide variety of venues from stately homes to cathedrals, whatever the occasion Hathor Duo provide a bespoke service tailored to suit your individual requirements. They have a wide range of repertoire including classical, folk, popular, Bollywood and jazz music and love to devise sets to suit your individual tastes. They regularly produce their own arrangements so if there is a specific song you would like for your event, please don’t hesitate to mention this in your enquiry. Lucy and Meera regularly travel throughout the UK and internationally and have public liability insurance which a certificate can be provided for on request.
